Article 2 of the Conservation And Management Of Marine Ecosystems Act

Definition

The term marine organisms under protection means marine species that fall under any of the following categories: endemic species of Korea, species whose population has significantly declined, species of high academic or economic value, or species of high international conservation value, as prescribed by Ordinance of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries.

Designation of Protected

Designation status including Total, Mammals, Birds, Reptiles, Fishes, Invertebrates, and Seaweed.
